Cool Season Crops planted

Just before spring break, after the garden beds had been cleared and topped up, classes came out and planted their cool season crops - arugula, radish, mustards, peas etc.  These fantastic salads will be ready for the harvest festival in late June.

They also planted up tubs of potatoes, to get a head start in the classrooms, before going outside when it is warmer in April.

At least one class is experimenting by talking to one of their potatoe tubs to see if they will grow faster - we'll let you know...
